About the Artist
Well known for his prolific portraits, Caplanis has contributed illustrations to the Washington Post, the Philadelphia Inquirer, the Los Angeles Times, Yankee Magazine, American History magazine, the Oxford-American magazine and other publications. He illustrated the book Drawn to the Civil War, a book of biographies and caricatures of Civil War heroes. For more information please visit him on Facebook.
The exhibit is on display at the GW Virginia Science & Technology Campus, Enterprise Hall, 44983 Knoll Square, First Floor Gallery, Ashburn, VA 20147. It is free and open to the public.
