U.S. Sen. Tim Kaine, D-Va., will visit the George Washington University’s Virginia Science and Technology Campus on Dec. 1 to tour the School of Nursing’s state-of-the-art Skills and Simulation Laboratory, a training center with 21 highly sophisticated manikin patients that allow students to work in real-life situations. Sen. Kaine will address the university’s next generation of healthcare professionals, including participants in the Veterans Bachelor of Science Nursing Program on the demand for nurse practitioners in the region. GW President Steven Knapp will also make remarks.
