GW classes canceled; administrative and academic offices closed on March 5

GW classes are canceled, administrative and academic offices are closed, and activities and events will not take place on Thursday, March 5 at all of our Washington metropolitan area campuses and locations because of inclement weather throughout the region.

When the university declares a change to its operating status, employees classified as Designated On-Site are required to report to and/or remain at work, employees classified as Essential are generally expected to telecommute, and employees classified as Non-Essential are not required to work unless directed to do so by a supervisor.

Photographs by four distinguished GW Alumni artists, Pamela Habholz Davis – MFA ‘06, Johnston Grindstaff – MFA ‘01, Rick McCleary – MFA ‘82, and Claudia Smigrod – MFA ‘78, are featured in the GW 20th Anniversary Alumni Regional Artist Series Winter 2011 Exhibit at the GW Virginia Science and Technology Campus. The exhibit features a unique mixture of realistic and abstract photographs by the four photographers from December 1, 2011 to February 28, 2012.

LCPS students from Belmont Station ES and Buffalo Trail ES exhibit more than 50 two-dimensional pieces on Campus from Nov. 11 to Jan. 11. Loudoun County Board of Supervisors Commends GW Virginia Science and Technology Campus for Contributions in Education and Economy

“Now, therefore, be it resolved that the Loudoun Country Board of Supervisors hereby commends The George Washington University’s Virginia Science and Technology Campus on its 20th anniversary; and expresses its gratitude to the University for its contribution to the economy of Loudoun County and for educating its citizens to fill jobs of the twenty-first century.”
