Genomics Summer Camp

GW engaged young minds in the annual Genomics Summer Camp for Girls. The week-long camp was held annually in the summer for high school students. The program was run as a partnership and operated by faculty members from GW and the Shenandoah University School of Pharmacy faculty. At the camp, the Pharmacogenomics faculty used lab experiments— including DNA analysis—to introduce the science of genomics and microbiology to approproximately 30 high school teens per year.
