Get Career Help with a “Handshake"

Current students and alumni now have access to Handshake, a powerful and dynamic new online career management and recruitment platform. Handshake replaced the GWork (Symplicity) system this summer.

Handshake offers many exciting features, including:

A more personalized & powerful job search experience. Handshake continually personalizes job and internship recommendations based on a student/alumni user's interests and connections, pushing out customized information that is relevant and timely based on their career interests, experiences, and major or field of study.

Relevant career resources, events & news. Users can easily search for jobs and internships, sign up for events and career coaching appointments, access the on-campus recruiting program, review career resources that are relevant to them, and receive the latest information from their GW career services office and the employers they follow.

A seamless recruiting and branding experience for employers. Companies and organizations can easily attract and connect to GW students and alumni by customizing their profiles to brand their organization, target job and internship postings to qualified candidates, manage on-campus recruiting, and advertise their on-campus events.

Take a few minutes to login to Handshake using the GW single sign on and explore available resources, including those that are available exclusively to CPS students and alumni.
