Local high school students are empowered to make more informed career choices after attending VSTC’s hands-on workshop, a “Day in the Health Sciences.” The career exploration program included hands-on workshops on occupational therapy, medical laboratory sciences, pre-medicine, and emergency medical services management.

Local High School Students Shine at Congressional Art Show

Rep. Barbara Comstock's 10th Congressional District art competition, hosted this spring at GW’s Virginia Science and Technology Campus, drew 138 entries. Judges awarded 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and honorable mention ribbons in each of the seven categories. The "Best of Show" piece will hang in the U.S. Capitol, along with winners from other Congressional Districts.

“Now, therefore, be it resolved that the Loudoun Country Board of Supervisors hereby commends The George Washington University’s Virginia Science and Technology Campus on its 20th anniversary; and expresses its gratitude to the University for its contribution to the economy of Loudoun County and for educating its citizens to fill jobs of the twenty-first century.”
