GW Announces Nursing School—New school to draw on existent resources on Foggy Bottom and Virginia Campuses

The GW Board of Trustees voted to approve the formation of the GW School of Nursing. The new school, which has 30 faculty members already in place and expects to hire more top-level professionals in the field, will be housed on both GW's Foggy Bottom Campus and on its Virginia Science and Technology Campus. “Now, therefore, be it resolved that the Loudoun Country Board of Supervisors hereby commends The George Washington University’s Virginia Science and Technology Campus on its 20th anniversary; and expresses its gratitude to the University for its contribution to the economy of Loudoun County and for educating its citizens to fill jobs of the twenty-first century.”
